No expert here. spamming 80 will also get you some life crystal, 2-5 a pop I believe. spam 40 is cheaper alternative but doesn't reward a lot of life crystal. Depends on you on what you want.

When it's raid bosses giving event currency, you want to do the 80 stamina map to spawn the bigger bosses. You only get one RP every 30 minutes, so you can't spam multiple low level runs and get the same return on corals.

As for the guy who can't 3 medal the last map, don't worry about it...you can get the event girl maxed without running even a single map as long as you fight the event bosses.
