It's pretty easy to 3* with the default setup, but for farming, it depends a bit what you want.

If you want chests for life crystals or ampys, put 3 teams on top right, at least 1 team bottom left.
If you just want to kill everything and farm as many pumpkins as possible, get some really *slow* teams, and put two of them in top left, one in top right, and two of them in bottom left, just so you stay on the map as long as possible and have as many of those small moving flies spawn as possible.
