My scenes played just fine. That last one with special "ghost" popping up...

That said, I was certainly shocked at the lack of maintenance time. If it DID exist, it was like 5 minutes.

[Event 16] The White Shadow of the Ancient Residence-lv-95.jpg

Didn't get to do much today. Cleared all my daily quests and got the rewards from the Flower Knight Girl x Idol Wars Z crossover. Almost lvl up. Got to save that for tonight when the quests reset. I'm on the 6th Gacha. Will be taking my time to get the Lv. 100 Manyus.

Down to my final 39 rolls. I just need 10,920 EC which I might be able to farm for at least the next 3.5 days even without gem refills.

It's good that the combo of ?-8 + SG Advanced is the best method to farm EC this time around, compared to the previous 2 events, letting me farm life crystals without worrying about EC output (eventually got enough crystals for my first gold skillbloom, given to Evening Primrose).

*facepalm* i've always started E-8 with 2 squads at the leftmost camp and thus i never completed the map nor got always all coin chests..
Good thing it only took me like 7 times until i considered looking the guide from "ashe" up :S

Yeah, no need to deploy squads from left camp as the adjacent area lacks useful nodes (in this case, magnifier nodes) if you're going for the 3*. You can start playing around with 2-1-2 for extra coin farming once you achieve the 3 medals.

Also, don't deploy a team/helper at the bottom that is too fast, for it might just run past the 2 micro-pest nodes and not engage them before one of the teams at the top ring is able to hit the magnifier. The first team that "reveals" the random node of the ring usually tends to go down and you'll only be left with 1 more chance to hit the magnifier and engage the micro-pests if you didn't place enough squads near that ring.

Ran into that exact problem as well, the default team is squad 1 (speed 887), which is a bit faster than my squad 2 (speed 742), and a whole lot faster than the rest. So on my first attempt, team 1 was right past the first micropest node (visually, they hadn't even left the node yet) when another team hit the magnifier. So now I move squad 2 to the bottom node, and put all the other squads in the top right, ignoring the top left, to maximize the attempts for squads to catch the last pest in the ring.

I also still have to clear both ?-3 and ?-7. Maybe I should grab a unit with more even speeds for those two maps, but team 1 being a lot faster than the other teams certainly doesn't work out.

I usually put 3 fast squads at the top as I think they'll be able to traverse the entire ring and unlock nodes in less turns. XD

I just barely 3-starred ?-3 on the first attempt, when my Team 1 was almost touching the flag and I had another team that was about to engage a pest node I was about to miss (and luckily didn't). Lol.
