For those saying that they got no warning, Discord and Nutaku warned us all that the update was happening today, for ten hours. If you're expecting to be compensated because you forgot/didn't know/didn't care and now you're upset because you missed a few gathers, that's kinda silly. It's a ten hour maintenance, and they told us it was going to be that long when they announced it for last week with only a day or two of notice. Now you've had a week to prepare for today's maintenance. We all lost some stamina regeneration time and some gathers because of the gargantuan down time, but to say the devs sprung this on us is false.
And as for the reissued Canna event, you should have one more day/a dozen or so hours after today's downtime to finish your farming.
I personally finished up my alt's event grinding yesterday instead of Manyu farming because I knew I'd have limited time to use my Stamina on the Dragon Farming before the maintenance, so I planned accordingly. Finished the event, got my 6 yellow level 100 Dragons in my early runs, and finished up my Stam bar about ten minutes before the maintenance came on. Those who are complaining it's BS are kinda... just being childish.

Sorry if the text wall seems rude.
tl;dr: Dev's warned us don't expect to be compensated because you forgot big maintenance was today.
maybe you get, why some ppl are upset, if you're longer in the game
every minute, every RP, every gather counts (for me), so i'm losing a lot today, but thats subjective. if you don't care about losing 5 gathers and around 200 stam (just from regen), good for you, i do care.
we could even ask "why not doing the maintenance at night?" but i don't think the "devs" aren't that dedicated, thats the difference between dmm and nutaku i think. the guys at dmm are the devs, the guys at nutaku are translating and adjusting the content so we can understand and use it, plus creating some new gachas here and there...
it's just annoying that the maintenance switched in so unexpected today. some other games show a counter until the game goes down. that would be a great help. if you knew that you just got 10 minutes until maintenance, you could rush through some stages and use up all gathers and RPs. but thas would mean work for the "devs"

The lack of updates in the #news channel is getting annoying, to be fair.
There might be a communication issue though. Nameless is on less lately and there are new mods/staff, but the latter don't seem to get the memo.
Last DST change when the server went down for ~12 hours, we got 10 FGs.
There was also the stam glitch compensation that took several months for them to give us a 5* ticket, but eh.
Nice to see I'm not the only one having issues.
Doesn't matter. Now I can do SP first.
approx what time did the update start?
around 8h and 10 min ago

This is genuinely something I think would help a lot of people feel less bothered by maintenance times. It's probably been suggested a billion times to them though.
A good chunk of the maintenance got done during the early hours of the night (in my timezone), 2am-8am, so for me the timing of the maintenance actually worked out. So perhaps I'm not really capable of rightly understanding your point of view, Paraphin. Sorry if my previous post came off as harsh, I can really respect the want to Min-Max your every moment out of a game and my comment isn't directed at people who are bothered because the maintenance disrupts their schedule. I can understand being bummed out because you wanted to play and you can't, and for some people the timing meant a solid 20+ hours of not being able to log in ( Sleep, wake up to maintenance starting, head to work for 8-12 hours) which is basically a kick in the crotch.
I'm just kind of bothered by people feeling entitled to being recompensed for the game needing to be down to move servers when it's for our own benefit/we were told about the half-day long move a week ago. When I saw the notice for the maintenance I basically wrote today off completely as a no-play-day/sign in and out day. Easier for me to do than people who've been daily players for a year, for sure. But those hardcore, serious business players who feel strongly enough about their min-maxing to be bothered by the long downtime are the first ones I'd expect to make a change to their schedule to accommodate the maintenance (if at all possible), the people I'd have expected to have logged in as soon as the daily roll-over came to get their days and runs started.
(Maintenance started about 2 hours after the daily roll-over, so realistically those hardcore players who log in for the start of the day to get a jump on their daily quests/raids/weekly mission would have gotten their runs in pre-maintenance.)
Nutaku/Discord's got a really shit reputation from what I've gleamed from the forum and it's probably well deserved from how they've acted in the past/how the act comparatively to DMM but to be honest they haven't really done anything in this time. Maybe they started the update a bit early but eh, doesn't seem like something meant to piss off the players intentionally.

Bloodsport: I think it's fair for people to have been caught off notice by this one. When it was postponed last week, nameless specifically stated that they would update us with the revised time for the maintenance on Monday, and that didn't happen. I'm not super upset by it, I'll be able to make my primary goals on the event either way, and probably most of the secondary. I probably lost out on some yellow bloom dragons (I was running that stage when maintainable hit), and I won't be able to make today's gather daily quest, but if there are a few free gems I can refill stamina and raid points and mostly catch up. Being caught in the last part of the reissue would be more concerning but anyone who has been around for a while should know that leaving buying event rewards till the last few hours is quite risky. (Advice: buy everything you can a day ahead and then as you go.)
