Well they did say it's happening with the next snapshot. You probably know the term "Snapshot" better as "Mega Update". I guess they figured that they were gonna make some big changes soon so they just lumped them all together with it.

Edit: By the way, there's a mega update for the game arriving at least 2 weeks from now.

Dude - that they acknowledge the problem and have a fix date that is reasonable is miles better then were we were
