Ain't really doing a good job if that's the case, lol. All it did was made me think that the power divider would allow lower tier players to avoid fighting the boss but gain more medals than old missions. Cuz that'd make more sense.

It's supposed to be progression; if you can't clear the latest boss, then farm lower ones until you can. All the divider does is underline a minimum threshold for clearing the stage.

Yeah, it's kind of pointless, but it's something different for the sake of something different.
