Just had a great result getting through lost 3 girls ship just keeps shooting

I would recommend focusing on 1.65 skills & crit and dodge, but unfortunately not so many girls bloom

Out of curiosity, how many turns does it typically take people to win each of the deck fights in 17-5? I sometimes find it hard to scale how well a team is performing on my own which makes it difficult for me to tell if I should be more defensively or offensively oriented.

I usually do the first one in two, and the second in three.

In case it matters, I'm using Fritters, Anemone, Cattleya, Kerria, and Dendrobium

I was using counter on neutral one Anemone Apricot Mistletoe Ghostweed Soapwort.
Took more turns to clear it. First was 3 second was 4. I have those girls built up pretty well to take abuse.
It was the only team that I tried that didn't take losses. I tried Kerria and her support team always took losses. Didn't try Dendrobium or a full debuff. I just rotated Ghostweed, Iberis, Alpinia, and Burning Bush depending on the map color. It worked.

I had similar experiences with pitting Kerria and her raid boss team against them. Even if she was still standing, the fight against the ancient pest got hobbled by the losses of the other girls. On those occasions where my whale refused to do anything but the basic attack, things could get dicey. It's why I'm curious to see how well other defensive teams have managed.

As for the blooming, I know the feeling. I've been waiting on baited breath for Dianthus to get some love from on high.

I got through 17-5 with a full 1.2 x skill rate squad and max attack.... lost 3 girls and the whale ship part was dicey but I did get it on the first try with that setup.... my counter girl attempt failed so I just tried something else... if the attack failed I was going to go for a -70% atk squad.

Try apricot or you can kill the pests in one round (One hit kill)

For the current effect, the defense is given to the apricot (or other skills similar to apricot)

One hit kill is the best

As a reference, there are actually other options
