It's just annoying the skip button prevent gathering of Shine Crystals at the end of each fight. And even more annoying, fight auto-end occur BEFORE Solar Blast at the end of the turn. So, it still use all the shine crystals but does no damage.

I do collect some shine crystal when I skip, but it's noticably less. But, that isn't the worst part. Some of my squads collect so many crystals, that on a skip, the game simply gets stuck on the collecting sound and crashes. When I restart, any neckties used are gone, but the boss didn't lose a single point of health.
So I have to keep every single boss fight running in slomo.
