I just confirmed on Discord with Fire Lord Ozai that daily deals will be every other day for a while. They just never bothered telling us this (presumably to make us panic I guess?).

today's deal is Herbaceous Peony Halloween and a rainbow skillbloom for 4000 Nutaku gold.

pretty good deal since she's a good debuffer (and super cute)

How is this a good deal? On daily deals we typically expect to pay 1000-1500NG for a 6* unit of choice and 1000NG for a skill/dressbloom. Spending an extra 1500-2000NG doesn't seem all that great, cuteness notwithstanding.

I get that personal bias may make her worth it to the loli fans, but it's not a good deal to anyone else; even if Nutaku threw in a dressbloom as well the deal would still be a bit more expensive than the norm.

And this is why Daily Deals aren't daily anymore.
They're trying to set a new norm at a higher price.

It's kind of amusing how expectations have changed. Any 6* used to be 5000 NG, and we often only got to choose 1 of a select 3. Then their price was boosted to 6000 NG and people eventually accepted that. When we got the Black Friday deal of a 6* of our choice for only 1500 NG it was completely mindblowing. Now a 1500 NG 6* is expected...

I can't say I blame the devs for trying to update our expectations again. Honestly a lot of the early daily deals were too good, and they didn't stop.
