There are definitely more 5* characters I want right now than 6* characters, but that's largely due to the numerical disparity in the number of characters for each rank (and the relatively large proportion of 6* deals compared to 5* deals.) It really does boil down to waifus though, there's no 5* character out there who I really want or need for my team that would provide any battle advantage compared to my current team makeup.

If you want to spend NG for the current girl then go for it. Nothing's going to change the fact that it might be useful, but then again you're asking for a girl with 5.2k base ATK then sure King Protea is for you. Statistically saying that most people will buy her for the sake of collection.

honestly, if the abilities the unit gets is OP, does the base atk matter much?

offensive wise you would want both, but if it's something like def up and evade, then that low atk unit is already playing defense

Haha, funny story...

I happened to roll Dalmatian Bellflower in my second 5* roll in the desperate attempt to grab Tiger Lily.

So, logic dictates that if you roll the weekly Step Up gacha, Phob, you're going to get Tiger Lily.

And then we'll both scream to Nutaku and demand the opportunity to trade with other players.

Hilarious because I got Cattleya swimsuit from the Thursday Gacha deal. Anyway overall good deal, hopefully this stream of weekend dress bloom deals last the entirety of July or even Summer.

I don't really have a use for Cattleya (Swimsuit) except maybe nations battles (when they get good again) I love her 6* though and run it with the mains. I needed the dress bloom (along with about a million more), so I went ahead and got it. Put the bloom on Scarlet Tulip since she got a big buff and looks like one who wants to tangle with the next big raid boss.
