For those who don't already have her (I've already managed to roll her twice) King Protea's not half-bad for a 5* unit.

I wish there was more transparency as to, how and why the daily deal girls were selected, though. Or at least some sort of formula or algorithm that led to all the 6*s and 5*s rotating through sales once before being offered again.

I think they just made a list of random girls for a generator to pick, similar to the actual daily deals about 6 months ago.

Anyway King Protects is decent, but rainbows are very easy to get on Nutaku so gold knights basically fill the Mai Waifu Doctrine. I want to see how long until we get the rarity grown update

If they would only offer 5* tickets, there is about a dozen I want, starting with Dalmation Bellflower. They seem to miss every time

There are definitely more 5* characters I want right now than 6* characters, but that's largely due to the numerical disparity in the number of characters for each rank (and the relatively large proportion of 6* deals compared to 5* deals.) It really does boil down to waifus though, there's no 5* character out there who I really want or need for my team that would provide any battle advantage compared to my current team makeup.

If you want to spend NG for the current girl then go for it. Nothing's going to change the fact that it might be useful, but then again you're asking for a girl with 5.2k base ATK then sure King Protea is for you. Statistically saying that most people will buy her for the sake of collection.

honestly, if the abilities the unit gets is OP, does the base atk matter much?

offensive wise you would want both, but if it's something like def up and evade, then that low atk unit is already playing defense

An excellent deal today as Alpinia is one of the best knights in the game, part of the four heavenly kings. I was gonna raise another along with Kerria but rarity growth update will make it unnecessary.

Haha, funny story...

I happened to roll Dalmatian Bellflower in my second 5* roll in the desperate attempt to grab Tiger Lily.

So, logic dictates that if you roll the weekly Step Up gacha, Phob, you're going to get Tiger Lily.

And then we'll both scream to Nutaku and demand the opportunity to trade with other players.

Hilarious because I got Cattleya swimsuit from the Thursday Gacha deal. Anyway overall good deal, hopefully this stream of weekend dress bloom deals last the entirety of July or even Summer.
