I ended up actually going Firethorn instead of either Heather or Pomegranate. I very nearly went Pomegranate but decided at the last second that I disliked her battle sprite animations. Honestly, at this point I'm just stocking up the last few slots in my whale squad anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I purchased my summer gacha stuff several hours before the daily update and the switch from blue dragons to purple and yellow manyu harvesting -- and I haven't seen any option to repurchase the summer gacha tiers. So, I'm guessing I somehow missed the cutoff to have another shot at that. At this juncture, the dressbloom and skillblooms would almost be more valuable to me than the tickets -- and I bet we'll see a dressbloom / skillbloom daily deal during this sale.

While I appreciate the sales immensely (though I still believe selling exchange tickets instead of gacha tickets at this price point was an error), I do almost worry that I've gotten everything I wanted all at once, which may diffuse my enthusiasm for future sales. There's a few future characters slated for release that intrigue me, but the only 5* character available now I'm remotely interested in is Yarrow. I guess if Heather or Pomegranate are offered on deep daily deal sales, I'd consider them. But I'm basically in a position where my entire whale squads are set up, all I need to do is level up everyone I've acquired.

This could backfire for Nutaku, at least for me -- having gotten all the characters I want future daily deals are going to be tough sells.

Though maybe that's Nutaku's strategy -- having invested so much in characters, they could now switch gears and start offering skillblooms and dressbloom packages, or blooming elixir and petal packages, and I'd be all over those.
