I'm not one for advocating using exploits, nor do I encourage it in this case, but if people benefit from it without penalty then I'm not going to get too worked up over it since Nutaku has demonstrated time and again that a)they can easily fix it but b) for some reason forget to do so every time there's an update of any kind of significance.

Probably no, there is no real negative impact, but mainly a lot of frustration.
