Does anyone know what event 44 will end up being? Would it be the Christmas Party with Skimia, or the Shrine Maidens with Amazon Lily?

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing the Christmas Party one, since shrine maidens would usually be associated more with New Year than Christmas.

RIP, yeah I usually go afk in the morning while im getting ready for work then i notice one of them pop up and by the time i notice they are at 0:00 :/

Heh, looks like somebody has the same habits as me.
Though I've learned already that if I'm going afk I should either turn off the autorun of the mission in progress or start a mission that doesn't generate a secret garden.

Yeah, one of the things BGR does better than FKG is the amount of time it gives you to sally on special missions (1hr vs 4m). I've had secret gardens time out just because I was running through a scripted post mission story on auto and it took more than 4 minutes.

I'm depending on this event's to supply some advanced bloom dragons. I have 7 max level girls awaiting evolution and I've not gotten any in the last dozen (yes, I counted) runs of the 80 stamina bloom dragon missions. Whale missions seem to be the only reliable way to get evolution components.

Also what is with the main line quests that reward bloom birds? Something not implemented?
