I would have thought that one was obvious.... they saw the cows feeding their young that way and thought "maybe I should try and get in on this action".

and some coffee comes from coffee beans that's been dug from the, erm, waste products of specific animals. now the thinking process involved with tasting THAT is much more, unsettling.
