Well there is a way to make a clean break and hop over to the Japanese version, just delete everything. Knights, jewelry, everything else. Effectively destroy your game so you no longer have to be mad about things not being done right. Still have the proper version after all.

The new year's event and shop disappearing early is a bigger deal than the voting.
