Well, if you fail, you can just pay another time with choco to finish the fight. So, you need more and more and more choco to go ahead.
But, if you die, you will still get Sweet-heart depending on the damage infliged (something like damage/1000).

You can repeat it until it die. But at theend, you will just get the maximum choco-heart it give (=max HP/1000). His life don't refill.
So, if you die once on a boss, you'll need 40 choco to get the max heart it give. If you die 10 times on it, you'll need 200 choco for his hearts.

Also, for my friends, I changed my helper squad. Put Kerria&Brice Camelia for damage/healing + Cherry sage for atk boost and debuf + Cyrtanthus for atk and skill boost+Chrismas Rose for more atk boost.

I am considering changing Daisy for Mei, and Helenium Dendrobium duo for Cherry Sage and X who both add +30% vs Raid Bosses to the squad.
Should work out well, even through the loss of the 2 6* stats, you`ll be buffing the other 3 rather immensely.

Wanted to get that new Six Slice on my alt for laugh, so this event starts well for me. She's not the Vine girl but she is a new addition to my growing fleet.

Anyway, is using anything more than the base 20 Choco bars in the early fights a waste? (As in the extra damage won't be calculated should the boss die?)

From what I understand 50/80 choco in phase one just make Solar Blast do 3 or 5 times more dmg, but no bonus dmg to what girls do, which would explain why my girls did same amount of dmg to 6 lvl 1M hp boss and 1.5M 7 lvl one (I used 20 chocos on 6 lvl, and used 50 once on 7 lvl).

Only question is, how stronger boss will get with each level and thus how less dmg per used chocos and less event currency we will get. Seeing how phase two shop is barely 25% more expensive than first, when before it was like 5 times more, can suggest two things - or the event will be really easy, or the difficulty of bosses will sky rocket slowing down stamina->choco->boss dmg->event currency really, really down.

Thou they could make the event easier as an compensation for it starting over a day later.
