OOOOOOH, so that's what's screwing people over; that last, Northernmost random-panel; I was wondering why it looked out of place and didn't realize you actually get sent Southeast, past the boss you needed to kill. So that's actually just one-less random panel than 10-5 than I thought it to be, still making it pretty dam annoying, with maybe a rough estimate of 17% chance to 3-Medal the stage.

I really like FKG gameplay, but I really hate that random Tile...
All my Stamina + Gathers wasted on that last Map and I didn't even see what the North Boss look like. I use 3 Knights on the bottom left Camp, like that 2 of them (my main Team and the Helper) go to the North, having both 1/8 chances to reach the Boss, but... RNG just said "NO!". Fortunately we have 1 week to try, but if the only difficulty is pure RNG that's really a bad design IMO...
Just to be clear, the spinning arrow nodes are actually random right? It's not like if we time when we press the "Next" button we can make them go where the arrow is currently pointing?
Took me 3 tries to do last map, figuring out how that map works is easy. You need a 30k team on upper slot (dont put 1st party here) leave empty mid one and put all other 4 parties to bottom left. 3 isnt enough because 1 party cant handle the enemies at the bottom right. And finally if your 1st party's power is higher than 40k then you should lower its speed a bit than other parties because they'll clear everything in its path and finish stage before you clear it. Note that all of your teams speed gap shouldnt be high. The rest is up to upper arrows.

It depends on your Team Powers, mines can deal with everything except the last Boss. Anyway starting with 3 or 4 Teams in the bottom left Camp does not change anything regarding the main "difficilty" (RNG) of the Map who is to reach the Boss of the North (only 2 Team can go North if you plan to get the 3 Stars).

Okay, so i was scared of not being able to get all 24 stars, i did map 5 in 4 runs due to rng, 6 and 7 in the first try and map 8 took me around 3 or 4 tries, thankfully.
Since my team's speed whas somewhat similar, i sent my strongest and weakest team south, then 2nd and helper up and my 3rd team for the enemy in the middle. Main team could , albeit barely, kill everything including the annoying 50% bros with 1 orr 2 units surviving with team 4 at full life ready to scratch the final boss.
I couldn't make my team 3 slow enough, so it ended taking the north heals, and again, scratch the boss.
Finally the helper got to boss, killed it, used my team to tank the insects, and went for the kill to the weakened final boss. Funnily enough, they got to the final boss before my main got to the brothers, so my 3* run felt kinda anticlimatic with the normal music instead of the boss theme.
It's 12.5% per unit sent that way to be sent the correct way past the 3 gates 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/8 = 12.5, but you can garuantee 2 units get sent that way since you need at least one unit for the other route and considering, but considering the even numbers get sent right instead of left you only need to start 3 units at the guaranteed gate to send the 2 units upwards for the increased chance to fight the top boss.
For those interested in powers needed to win my team power was
1) 61k (1 5* and 2 4*)
2) 23k
3) 20k
4) 20k
H) 40k
All teams were about 400 speed. (450 for main and under 420 for the other 3, Helper was around 400 too)
