As long as you do 2-1or 1-3 and 12-3 when you can and be somewhat efficient while leveling your girls, you should be getting more or less as much money as you need for the rate you are getting manyus.

Even if you are not extremely efficient with your stamina as tenhou or others f2p players with really high power. I lose a ton of efficiency due to not touching the game for relly long amount of hours (sometimes 20+), being lazy and not always grinding all i should and i still have my money growing steadly. Today i evolved Yulan and got back to the previous amount quite fast. Once you can get several gatchas quickly, you are getting 5K per roll, so it's kinda nice.
