    Did some more testing today to discover the exact speed rating that makes a helper stop right before the first switchnode on 12-3: it's 645 speed. A 646 speed helper (or other squad with 646 speed or more) starting at the location of squad number 3 will flip the switch on the first walk.

    One of my allies has 872 speed on their helper team. It almost catches my 530 speed team when they go opposite directions on 12-3.

    in 12-3 with a fast helper and a fast squad 1 and 3 (squad 3 with less speed than 1) , putting every squad in the 4th tent from left to right works for me, helper and squad 1 (the strong ones) blow through the stage easily killing everything unless the random top node says no

    The squad that goes through the switched arrow can catch up easily with the squads going through the bottom path, if not overtake them, and ends up as one of the front teams, which means it has a good chance of having to tank through multiple pests. For a swift and complete map clearance, you want the squad taking that upper path to actually be capable of handling those pests.

    Umm... I kind of accidentally clicked the "Assign Assistant Leader" on one of my girls. What exactly does that do? Who was the original Assistant Leader, or was the spot empty until I clicked it? Also, what does it do? The only thing I've noticed is I can switch between showing a girl's evolved or non-evolved form in the main screen, but does being an Assistant Leader do anything else?

    It only switches the character you see on the Home Screen, originally it it always the leader of your first Squad in Set 1.

    AFAIK, it just changes the girl on your "profile" and your main screen, so for example your allies will see the picture of your Assistant Leader with your name and level in their allies list or on the Raid Boss participants screen.

    Ah, I see, so I no longer have to watch the inconsistency of my main screen girl changing after every raid boss / map I beat.. Although to be honest, I kind of liked that. Seeing as how I don't have a favourite girl yet, I kind of like seeing a different girl every time as it gives me the impression that they are "all there" just hanging out, and every once in a while one of them talks to me.

    With that said, I don't really see a way to remove my assistant leader as assistant leader. Am I doomed to have only 1 girl on my main screen regardless of which unit was last active, or is it possible to revert the change?

    Don't think you can remove a leader. You can just reassign.
