You might not want to take part in the fights against those bosses if you still want the currency, true.
Although since he has a chance to drop equipment spirits, for me it would be a priority and would choose him over the earlier bosses to fight.

I think he does spawn currency. Unless you mean a different raid boss

Yep, all great shougun spider only has slice type weakness

and great shogun spider not give passes anymore since the requirement to summon it is clear all items at shop , after you clear all of it you dont need it any passes more ,so great shogun not give passes

If that is the fact then it is sure worth it, but Considering the pace and scope of updates I have a feeling this is not it.
