I prefer buying through whale shop (max 2 x type, renewed when whale is activated again). More reliable.

Eab1990, some time ago, linked the patch history that the Nutaku version has been mostly following (https://pastebin.com/vYS3icFe). Going by that, we shouldn't expect to see bond crystals until the update following the next set of whale missions which should be one or two updates away. Blooming won't be for a few updates after that when Scotch Broom makes her appearance.

You seem to be misreading it. That link has bond crystals and whaleship mission three during the same month as the Gazania and Ficaria events. The wikia for the DMM version also shows them being added with the second half of Fuchsia's event on June 6th.
