Guys, I have a big doubt about the whaleship:

I added Chocolate Cosmos to my squads yesterday, to use the healing nodes, but they seem to heal only the first squad, and not the ship itself.
Am I wrong?

Yes , healing nodes only heal your squad not your whaleship

This shows the heal nodes on the 3rd part of the map hidden from the start. Having said that these are useless because there is no squad fight after that lol.

Damn, when I tried for the 1st time the Pierce missions yesterday, I did all of them on the first try.
Today, 2 fails on the Pierce-5 mission, all because the ship didn't use enough special attacks.

What is your 1st squad makeup? I have a hunch that the ship uses special attacks like the girls use theirs and if you have skill up girls in squad 1 it helps.... have not really tried this except that I have 2 x 1.2 skill girls in my team 1 for each colour I think and seem to get plenty of special attacks.

I don't think girls abilities affect the ship, I've had one like that, just kept gunning the pest while the pest unleashed hell - I'm not proud of it but I ragequit at that point, and did it too soon, meaning I didn't loose the stamina - pure anger and frustration

Yeah I have since looked it up and the rates are a flat 22% for 1 special and 18% for the other. Depending on the RNG method they use that could mean a 40% chance of a special vs 60% of no special or it could be that they make 2 RNG rolls... either way I have not seen a way to increase ship special chance at all.
