I have had 1 EX since their inception, a defence bracelet. It's nice with that 8% less damage buff but still so hard to get them to drop.

TBH tho they are the only equip worth getting, even the newer rings (non EX) are only +1600 atk at max level so even Equipment is always going to be a better option since they start at +1700 stats on the rings at lvl 40 with some going as high as +1900 total stats.
