She's not the absolute worst, there are some event girls who are even less useful. But Gerbera could definitely use a buff, so I'm hoping that her bloomed form will put her on-trigger buff much closer to Fritillaria's, who has a similar passive, but as a 6* gets 2% ATK per ability instead of only 1. Gerbera's 1% is not just "half as bad". It's even worse than half as bad, since she (or the target) will definitely be dead long before she ever reaches her maximum.

Still, a 5* is better than a 4*, and a 5* with all equipment slots unlocked and probably also a few skill level ups is even better. So, as long as you're not swimming in gold girls, do use her and do level her. If you grabbed Moonvine and Tachibana, then put her in the same squad as them. When you get Geranium, put her on that squad as well. Those three make a good start for a trigger squad, and will help make the most out of Gerbera. (If you ever get Cymbidium or Cyrtanthus or other girls who increase ability trigger, add them to that squad as well!)
