Farming events has given me over 500 life crystals too after buying the Rainbow, and the blue and red manys out (2 slice and 1 hit 6* gotten so needed them)

Right now not sure rainbow blooms are that great, tempted on the ampies but 100 each seems steep

It depends a bit I think. Usually, the ~3% increase in trigger rate isn't that noticable. But, most of my skill blooms first go to trigger-girls, where the effect is a bit more noticable. In a dedicated trigger squad, the effect becomes *very* noticable.
3 trigger girls give a 1.6 multiplier
Add Cymbidium for her 2x multiplier on the first turn, which is multiplative with the 1.6 multiplier, and you get a 3.2 multiplier.
So in such a team, each skillbloom increases the trigger rate on the first turn with 9.6%, which is far more noticable.
Rainbow trigger girls with their skill maxed, have a 34% chance to trigger their skill. In the setup I mentioned (3 regular trigger girls + Cymbidium), that gives an effective 108.8% chance to trigger on the first turn. And yes, it will always trigger on the first turn.

My current trigger team has Cymbidium, Justica, Apple and Kale, with Fritillaria to leech on their triggers. Their 31% trigger rate gives each of them a 99.2% chance to trigger on the first turn, and 108.8 for Fritillaria. I'm already lining up Maple, Burning Bush and Iberius for leveling and skilling, to get more guaranteed triggers (even if the golds rarely fail to trigger, it does happen). There just isn't any replacement for Cymbidium. I have Dendrobium, but her passive only affects herself.

Except that it was only playable for about 5 minutes before it started throwing around communication errors.
