Well, for me at least, I'm still at the point where a new 5* would be preferable to a duplicate 5*, so I favor the priority gacha for the higher chance of that happening even if there's nothing particularly interesting in there. Later on once I have a good amount of 5*s, I'll probably decide based on what's actually in the priority gacha.

I avoid the vanilla normal gacha because of the special gachas they sometimes have that are just normal gacha + bonus (like the bloom dragon one), but mainly just pull when the gacha has increased odds for a girl you want. I've learned to not expect anything from the premium gacha, so I just pull it when I have extra gems and the featured girls or bonus items catch my eye.
