It was all in vain.. I guess there are more people who blindly vote on the 6* they "wish they had" than there are people trying to make 2*/3*/4* into 6*.

I think that red limited gacha boosted Alpinia - Black Baccara popularity, sad really. I prefer 5* and below to lead the vote.

Truth be told, I am not surprised.
From the past results of DMM, the top ten are almost always reserved for 5 and 6 star.
That being said, Orchid being second bugs me a bit but what can I say.
It is the will of the general.
At least now I do not have to worry anymore as the fantasy is dead.

You do not have to save the tickets, and you do not need the tickets to trade in for the event girl Leschenaultia. Just collecting the tickets is enough. You can use your tickets to vote if you want to.

Dammit I don't even mind the 6 stars being there as much as I mind Orchid being there. We're already getting her and due to lack of information in the playerbase they're voting for her. Well, I guess I'll pool all my tickets into Cepha now and just kinda hope she makes it up there into the top 3. She's the only 4 or lower star in the top 10 anyways.

This. I thought I'd spend this whole event desperately gathering those voting tickets to dump them all on Yulan, but now that we know there's no hope I can just sit back, relax and pretend that the whole popularity contest isn't even there.

Back to the original goal: Get 4000 tickets for the event rewards!

I used about 200 tickets so far and put most of those on Canola, but now that she is so far behind I think I'll just jump aboard the Cepha train.

What I find most fun is Orchid Wylder on 2nd place. If it holds, will we get TWO Orchid Brides, one 6* (original) and one 5*? Or will they rust downgrade 6* Orchid Bride? That would have been hilarious... but better someone kick her out of top 3. Someone like Mint, ore even Sepha.

I guess that's the only boat left, even Mint seems too far. I still consider a 4* too much since te idea is to get units nobody is using, although i admit that 4* are bound to be replaced someday. Just getting forgotten 2* there was such a beautiful idea...the playerbase is unoriginal, and frankly, i think they voted for their best unit or the unit they would like in terms of stats rather than the character, which is what the contest is about.

So, i guess i'll end up voting Cepha...but i really want to conform the 2* alliance and go for Mint. >.< (Which would also be cool, since i've heard the ilustrator still draws her from time to time as if she weren't a mob character, so he would be happy to do the work again.)

Amaryli was the perfect dream...but it sunk.
