Seeing all of these strong teams makes me hope I can get there someday. Ive just been spamming the second phase 15stam one(How do you name these levels? I see the ?-number but whats the ? for?) and Im at 987 tickets so far. Only lv25. I havent done much else in the game yet just to focus on getting what tickets I can. This has been the game Ive liked the most so far tho Im hoping as I progress I get more stuff. I basically dont wanna see these same girls till the end of time. ;; Atleast Ill get an event character to add in.
Why is there such a big jump in difficulty also? Is there a reason or just how it is? I can beat 2nd Phase Beginner easy now but if I try the next stage I get smacked down. All in all I just wanna get as many tickets as I can. Atleast this game seems to let you grind events to try and get higher rather then simply needing to be a beast or get screwed on anything cool.
?-number is always in reference to event maps. ?-1 is the first map for phase one, ?-4 is the last map of phase one. ?-5 is the first map for phase two, ?-8 the last.
The normal maps are numbered by stage number and then the map within the stage. So 12-5 would be the 12th stage, fifth map.
We could name the event maps E-1 through E-8 instead, or E1-1 through E1-4 and then E2-1 through E2-4, but somehow they got named ?-1 through ?-8, and that naming convention stuck.
The difficulty jump is to make the events somewhat challenging to older players as well without the developers having to create some complex auto-scaling equation.
Gladly, the latest events are a bit more farm-able for new players than the first ones, making it actually possible for new players to at least get the fully unlocked girl. The first couple of events were pure medal collections, and barely getting 2 medals on ?-2 and/or ?-6 basically meant you'd only get a girl with 1 inventory slot and lvl 1 ability (my Edelweiss is like that, for example, but she's still quite overpowered).
But, don't fret, you'll push onto the next map in the next event. With a strong helper (and a not too sucky map), you might even push through ?-4 or ?-8, though the first few times might require a bit of luck, with abilities triggering often enough and such.
I made it

I think you can do a perfect Canna, with your current amount stamina without mentioning any SG event tickets in the worst case, until the last day 20/9.
after that a look at the tips section of the game to evolve your girls and get gain faster lv/xp.
I particularly did not play much the initial normal quests to win Lv and increase Lv of my girls.
I played a lot of the usual quests 5-3 alternating with 5-4, good gain xp /SG for begginers.

Good news for you, then: ?-5 (Phase 2 first map) is all you REALLY need to get a perfect Canna (event girl). You need 2k tickets, it occasionally spawns a special Secret Garden that gives you 30 tickets by itself, on top of the map itself giving 10-15.
So if you're new, here's a pretty good strategy for clearing (note, NOT 3-medaling, just getting stage clear) most maps: Pick a single girl you like and level her AND ONLY HER as much as you possibly can. Visit the Friend ID thread on this forum and grab some powerful helpers. Ride the helpers' squads to clearing maps until you get enough Secret Garden spawns to get enough manyus to level the rest of your teams. Continue until you reach 12-3, where you place all 5 squads on the top-left camp, thus bypassing the entire left and bottom sides of the map and heading straight through at worst 3 pest battles and some nests to the boss. Spam this map, getting as many SG spawns as you can to level the rest of your squads to 40+. This is the fastest way to power up in this game AFAIK.
Reasoning: a single powerful squad can get a stage clear on almost every map in the game (note: pest-heavy maps like 12-5 can be an issue if the team does not have Edelweiss and/or Toad Lily and/or full team of max/near-max Gold/Rainbow units. However, helper squads' strength is scaled down to your own highest level single unit. Therefore you powerlevel a single unit to get more out of your helper squads, and rely on those squads to clear maps you'd never clear on your own without 40 hours of grinding.
side note: daily missions: completely ignore the dragon ones for now, you need max level units for those to be relevant. Manyu dailies are hit or miss depending on what you need and if you're willing to sacrifice your commander level gain for them (all dailies suck in terms of Commander XP and gacha seeds, and the only one that gives good Gold is Saturday, which gives literally nothing BUT Gold). Saturday is only worth a run or two (no more than that should be necessary) if you're really short on gold.
@Shurato: the vast majority of vets highly recommend staying away from Missions 5-10 due to the SG spawn being inferior to the Beginner (1-4) and Advanced (11+) ones. Recommended if you're not using the method I list here is 1-3/2-1 spam until your units are level 30ish, then 12-3 spam until you're strong enough to clear everything else.

I used 5-3 and 5-4 to Lv up faster while SG cost 12 appears sometimes, the initials 1-3,2-1 and other's not give me xp that I wanted.
But now I'm doing just 12-5 and some other's left to me to complete 3 * in all maps, Left to complete 3 * from 10-5, 13-4, and 13-5.
atm I'm in Lv 92 playing for free . i like to have a high Lv cause I can play more times with High stamina points/gathering.

I personally am doing just the 80 AP one. Dont fancy the slow spamming of low level missions (to annoying for me). Approx 3600 right now, 400 more to go in next 4 days. Should be easy to do tomorrow, so I will be able to focus on Sunday manyus.
Same. I just set up ?-8, hit start, and tab out to other stuff. Check back a few minutes later to see if SG/RB spawned, etc. At 3300, shouldn't be an issue to be ready for Manyu farming sunday. Have quite a few slice girls to level (Alpinia, Kerria, Orchid, Camellia; intending to swap Alpinia into Team 1 once she catches up to Fritillaria so Team 1 isn't so slow (slowest team I have by ~60 speed and it's the strongest by 30k+ TP lol)
