The staminaumpkin ratio is about the same between ?-7 and ?-8 for my 450 speed team, though I do occasionally miss 10-13 pumpkins because the team on the top tent is still a bit too fast. Ditto ^. I slowed down my squads to all go at a steady speed of 500. The main advantage of going ?-8 over ?-7 is the chance to obtain Ampys, Life Crystals and slightly more coins.
