That'd be almost depressing. I wasn't that far into the game, hadn't even started the whaleing. Plus all the funds got refunded. At least i know now what not to do.

thats the strange part...they just prefer to refund all the payment and closed the account without give evidence to it

I've had banks before email/call me to verify overseas transactions, but never had them just straight up decide for me (although I imagine if I didn't respond to them quickly they would have). If you haven't already done so, in the future contact your bank beforehand to let them know that you're making an overseas transaction (and as many details as you can provide, namely the domain should be fine) so they won't flag it as suspicious.

news to me, but isnt it troublesome if each time we buy Nutaku Gold we must tell them?

That's not strange, that's something Nutaku has no control over. If a bank says to a vendor (-particularly- an overseas vendor selling through the internet), "We believe this transaction was fraudulently made and as such will not be paying this money to you", the vendor often doesn't have much recourse, especially when the disputed amount is for less than $100; it takes time and money to legally argue and the vendor isn't about to shell out more money than they would get. So the vendor, to protect themselves, says, "Okay, fine, but we're closing this account since it's easier than going in and undoing the goods the customer received and may have already benefited from."

Nutaku is far from the only company that operates like this. I don't know if any of you have ever played World of Warcraft, but Blizzard will do the exact same thing if a CC charge gets bounced back as fraudulent. The one difference though is that Blizzard will usually allow the account holder to appeal and explain themselves and if need be, make good on the disputed charge to get the account reinstated.

You shouldn't have to do it every time, no. Most banks, once you tell them that a particular domain is one that you expect to be doing regular business with, won't flag transactions from there any further. But, be careful before telling a bank that you'll be doing regular business with a domain unless you're absolutely certain that you will be -and- keep records of your transactions because if anything does go wrong, the bank won't be your automatic defense anymore and you'll have to provide proof of which transactions were yours and which weren't when you file a dispute. Additionally, once you've decided not to do business with a vendor anymore, it's a good idea to contact your bank and let them know not to accept any further charges from the vendor.

In short, the more you communicate your legal intentions with the people and institutions that you trust, the better protected you'll be.

I have been using paypal i linked my bank account to it then i transfer money to paypal then after a couple of days i can spend it. which sucks if there is a flash sale or daily deal type things.

Too bad on my end. I've chatted with the bank and they mentioned the whereabouts of the domain is in iceland and its a common case they've had with fraud.

They're looking after money and they do err on the side of caution down here in Aus.

Off the back of that, i've just re-allied everyone i could from the last 4 pages.
