That'd be almost depressing. I wasn't that far into the game, hadn't even started the whaleing. Plus all the funds got refunded. At least i know now what not to do.

I've had banks before email/call me to verify overseas transactions, but never had them just straight up decide for me (although I imagine if I didn't respond to them quickly they would have). If you haven't already done so, in the future contact your bank beforehand to let them know that you're making an overseas transaction (and as many details as you can provide, namely the domain should be fine) so they won't flag it as suspicious.
