Breaking tradition is strange, and not welcome. I don't think anyone is going to contest that.

The reason you're not getting sympathy is because you didn't trade for the girl immediately after getting her ticket (this isn't even a case where it's a gacha ticket and you are holding off because you might get the girl you want with your next roll and then use the ticket on someone else; this ticket was for event girl only). Common sense dictates get the girl, THEN worry about improving her with blooms. The fact you have played from Day 1 means you're even further from getting any sympathy, since you don't have the newbie excuse of "I had no clue the game works like that."

You're crying foul for not doing something by Day 14 of the event what common sense dictates you'd do by Day 3 latest (and if you have all the blooms, you likely had the ticket on Day 1, maybe 2). Most people's capacity for sympathy takes a nosedive when the person complaining has ignored common sense, got burned and then cries foul. YES, they should have left up the exchange longer. But the fact you got all the blooms means it is on YOU for not exchanging as early as possible (even if your gift box was full, if you really are a Day 1 player, you'd find a way to clear inventory enough to make room in the gift box at least). Therefore, sympathy levels are at zero for most people here.
