I'm in the same boat as you. Have not enough Knights to completely fill three teams unless I dupe some 2 stars. I can't finish the last mission as not every team is capable of winning against the pests.

Good news is: these maps return once a week, so you can just level up a bit, and try again next week, or the week after that. Flower gems are only rewarded the first time you clear them, so it's not like you will actually miss it, you'll only get it one or two weeks later.
Once we get Bloomed Forms, these maps supposedly become the farming grounds for special items required for blooming, but by that time, your girls are probably strong enough that you only need one or two of your strongest on each squad.

Also if you can only run 3 full squads like me, 4 part full squads squeaked me by - 4 4 man squads

That is how I eked out the 2nd last Winter mission - 4 squads of only 3 gals and using the flare.

Pests in last mission are just that little bit stronger that my gals (3 evolved golds, one L50 evolved Bronze and the rest level 20ish Bronze and 2 stars) aren't beating them, even with my spare equipment on them. If I am still failing next week, will try using the Event equipment and my other maxed equipment on them.

That gag almost makes all the terrible failed translations worth it.

RNJesus is angry I spent over 200e and have only just cleared the 1st mission....yeh it's been that harsh

me too, i just used ~400 stam (full stam bar + 3x gather) for stages 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 and 2-4 and first try stage 2-5 but didn't get all pests with it. good thing: i already have 4300 votes for todays event.
