lvl 9 should be enough.

I take it there's no point in doing more than 20 point battles? I'm only doing around 250k damage per round, but I doubt the beam thing will do enough damage to warrant the price increase.

Some people in Discord have being doing math and are arguing that it might be worth it later on if you're running a full set of solar blast squads, not skipping/FFing through the fight, and are at the point where your units are doing incredibly minimal damage, but they're talking about like 100+% SB damage buff teams. (One person said he had his SB firing on every team including Helper team, so that would definitely help boost your DPS.)

Edit: Should probably mention that player was using a Shine Crystal drop + skill activation first team rather than a SB damage squad to get his SB fired and started again during the first fight if that helps anyone plan a team for that sort of stuff.

I'd say unless you're a player with the girls to make those types of teams it's probably not worth using the extra currency.

like smr already wrote, a regular team won't be able to inflict serious dmg to higher lvl bosses. thats why they will add the option for 150 choc bars to do 10x damage with solar beam, if you want to further bosses you will need a solar blast team, or maybe 2... 3? it will be difficult.

Thou only reason why you even would want to fight with so hard bosses is their kinda lame dropped rewards. Personally I rather spent all that time/stamina on doing reissues, or farming Manyus/Dragons.

More than enough. And after clearing the lvl 12 boss, you should have enough to clean out the second stage reward shop as well. Which is great, since the lvl 12 boss is also the last one to give something else than Life Crystals or Equipment Seeds.
