I was really hoping for a Hollyhock Step-Up, but I guess I'll have to wait a month or two for a decent priced 6* ticket Step-Up to get her.

I always say they put out these really shitty deals to contrast the good deals so we say "at least its not like that one deal" when a halfway decent deal comes along or the really good deals like the one we just had or black friday.

That might actually be the tactic they are going for.
A shitty deal suddenly looks good when compared to a super shitty one.
Thats in fact one of the usual market strategies employed in the real world, one can notice with some companies.
