Hope they bloom an event girl so the majority aren't twiddling their thumbs.

Daily deal is a 1000 NGold Rainbow Skill Bloom.
I have to spare my wallet a little for the rest of the month, so I have to pass (darn!). Especially since I better save the little I do have left to waste on frivolous things for a Rainbow Dress Bloom instead.
remember "black friday" is at the end of the month (i wonder if they are going to do the same or something different)

The problem with event girls is that they are not worth using even when bloomed. Bloom them, lvl to 80 with 2nd affection at 100% and they are only maybe = to a current non bloomed 6* with no 2nd affection and that INCLUDES the first 3 who actually had decent stats.
In addition, their passives are worse for sure, their actives are worse for sure and their active rates are worse for sure. This is all at lvl 5 skills for the event girls and lvl 1 for the 6*.
Compared to gatcha golds a bloomed event is better then a non bloomed gatcha but not by massive amounts.

they need to put some flower gems on sale again as im planning on using about 50 to refill stamina this week
Still varies a lot by girl and depends on what you look at. Several 5/4 event girls with leveled equipment already outperform 1/1 Rainbow Girls who have access to only 1 piece of that same equipment. There's a good reason why I didn't replace Belladonna with Swimsuit Epidendrum untill I had 3 jewelry slots unlocked on Epidendrum. I had a similar thing when I wanted to replace Mirabilis with Apricot.
Then there's Southern Cross, who has a passive that is for now only also available on Gentian. There is simply no Rainbow alternative for her Activation Rate debuff yet.
I could by now replace Hypericum with a Rainbow girl, but then I'd miss out on her comedy value, so that's not going to happen either, meaning, releasing blooms for event girls is very much warranted, to allow players to keep viably using their favourite girls, rather than min/maxing. It's fun to optimize your squads, sure. But that should never invalidate using girls that people actually LIKE. Otherwise FKG will go down the same gutter WoW once did, when people were no longer allowed to take funspecs into raids because of a theoretical 0.5% loss in DPS.
Black Friday 500 gold for a 5* and 6* ticket
Ah yes elitist jerks....what a site, and unfortunately as a team game and one which sets the bar fairly high, you needed to pull your weight
I don't mind newbs or decent people with fun builds, but there was a bar....for DPS if I recall that's about 7k in a cata dungeon...you pull that I don't care, especially by the end where I was raid ready and clearing that and some....heck you get a newb in struggling to reach the lower limit, I have all the time in the world to help them....
But if you won't take advise, target priority or learn things like hunter shot rotation then you're spoiling my fun and GTFO I will not wipe a dungeon for a prat

I do agree with your post. Zandel also forgot to calculate on some of our counter event girls. Having 4 defense equipment will equate to a lot of damage dealt compared to attack squads and defense squads. Which Counter squads have the best of both worlds along with the fact equipment has an higher noticeable impact on them compared to the rest. Mountain Lily who's a perma event FKG will also get the counter passive once she gets her bloom.
There's also the part where fremium players won't have access to rainbow dress blooms since those are usually at the Daily Deal or Step Up Gacha. Fremiums have to rely on getting dupe rainbows at premium gacha which will take a while. While event girls will have access to all of their equipment slots with just a bit of farming. Let's not forget smr's post on how equipment also has an bigger impact on Bloomed FKGs with more unlocked equipment slots.
