What is rarity growth, anyway? Doesn't seem to be introduced yet with Nutaku.

EDIT: Ah, okay. So I'd want to bloom Ardisia Bride into her bloomed form and max her levels, but not use any skillblooms or dressblooms on her until after rarity growing her.

Bummer. I already used dress and skill items to max out the 5* characters I'd most want to rarity grow.

probably next year at best started in march on DMM. You can use blooms but keep in mind that they all reset when you RG a girl. I got Ardisia Bride on the backburner with white tulip. Ampys stay with the girl but not blooms

Ampys stay, thank heavens. I'd honestly rather redo skill and dressblooms than ampys for the 5*s I'd consider rarity growing.

I imagine rarity growing is rare, though.

Debating between Heather and Pomegranate for my last ticket. Probably just going to go Heather for the 1.2x skill boost, which sounds great. But the tandem of Pomegranate's excellent skill and her ability to occasionally attack again is enticing as well. Plus, it's rare for a slice character to have those multi-hit skills.

At first this was my thinking too; "why wouldn't the blooms stick; it just devalues all < 6* blooms". But, after reading the article after my second cup of coffee, I realized that any blooms applied reduce the number of rainbow stones needed to grow a given girl (by over 100 in the case of 5* girls). Considering you only get 22 stones per 11 draw, that's a considerable amount of stones saved. You probably would actually want to use the 5* blooms before rarity growth.

3-4* blooms aren't worth considering really; who in the world actually buys 3* and 4* blooms?

That's a great point, actually.

I ended up actually going Firethorn instead of either Heather or Pomegranate. I very nearly went Pomegranate but decided at the last second that I disliked her battle sprite animations. Honestly, at this point I'm just stocking up the last few slots in my whale squad anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I purchased my summer gacha stuff several hours before the daily update and the switch from blue dragons to purple and yellow manyu harvesting -- and I haven't seen any option to repurchase the summer gacha tiers. So, I'm guessing I somehow missed the cutoff to have another shot at that. At this juncture, the dressbloom and skillblooms would almost be more valuable to me than the tickets -- and I bet we'll see a dressbloom / skillbloom daily deal during this sale.

While I appreciate the sales immensely (though I still believe selling exchange tickets instead of gacha tickets at this price point was an error), I do almost worry that I've gotten everything I wanted all at once, which may diffuse my enthusiasm for future sales. There's a few future characters slated for release that intrigue me, but the only 5* character available now I'm remotely interested in is Yarrow. I guess if Heather or Pomegranate are offered on deep daily deal sales, I'd consider them. But I'm basically in a position where my entire whale squads are set up, all I need to do is level up everyone I've acquired.

This could backfire for Nutaku, at least for me -- having gotten all the characters I want future daily deals are going to be tough sells.

Though maybe that's Nutaku's strategy -- having invested so much in characters, they could now switch gears and start offering skillblooms and dressbloom packages, or blooming elixir and petal packages, and I'd be all over those.

Yeah, she looks great.

Water Lily June Bride is also just a couple events away, I think, and I'm really looking forward to her.

Unfortunately, a lot of the other upcoming 5* and 6* characters that interest me are months -- if not at least a full calendar year -- away from eventual release. I really like Training Abutilon's Athletic Meet outfit and her abilities, for example -- and that's a long ways away.

I think thats one Xmas girl to go, so that's my next 6* ticket chosen

Then working on the other groups, picked up Setaria as she's a personal fav and was disappointed I hadn't already got her at some point

Was eyeing up Limnantes as, crazy lady with an egg bazooka

Trailing is really a cute one, just needs better outfit.
I just hope Nutaku keeps up the pace
