Today's Deal: Mum and 2 5* dressblooms for 2000NG. Not too bad for collectors; she's definitely not a competitive performer.

2000 gold is a good price for 2 gold dressblooms. If it isnt Aconite I cant really care much for 5 stars...it makes me wonder why I bought Agave in the first place.

This is a very important deal. As I see it, this is a test to see how future code girl daily deals will work, and if we want more like this one then it has to make more money than the atrocious Devils Claw one from a few weeks ago. I hope that a lot of people jump on this deal so that they come to the conclusion that catering to everyone is better than catering to just the mega-whales. Sadly though, that might not actually be the case, and it could turn out that $50 code girl deals are the more profitable option. So yeah, if you've ever had any interest in Mum (or just in some reasonably priced dressblooms), I'd highly recommend jumping in on this.

I bought it. I need the blooms. I could care less about Mum (haven't tried the garden scene yet though. It may be good)

I don't disagree with what you're saying in general terms, but in this case, I think the devs are having their cake and eating it too:

When Mum first appeared it was the last step in a step-up gacha that costs 8500 NG, with boosted overall salt rates. The -only- people who bought her were the whale collectors; it was a shitty gacha.

Now in her second appearance, Mum is much more reasonably priced.

I don't see this behavior changing; code girls being introduced at exorbitant prices to get the guaranteed sales from the whale collectors, then reappearing later at a more reasonable pricetag. Amusingly, Agave did the same thing, but in reverse: she debuted at 2500NG (and included 25 FGs), then made a later appearance for 5000NG.

Aconite, I would probably give blood for, but only if she could be rarity grown. not before. The rest no way.

At one point I had interest in Nightmaher but no longer at any kind of premium.
