What's the point of these x% atk to raid bosses?

Some of the events we get are referred to as "Raid Boss events"; simply put the event currency and other rewards are earned by summoning special Raid Boss monsters and/or assisting to kill other summoned Raid Bosses. The most recent one we had was back in October. These Raid Bosses are massively tough and hit pretty hard and each team of girls is limited to 5 rounds of combat before a draw is declared and combat either continues with the next team, or combat ends if there are no more teams. Because you can only fight these bosses with your Raid Points, you really need to maximize your contribution and ideally not have to spend multiple points to ensure that the boss will be defeated before it flees at the end of its 2-hour window.

That's where x% damage against Raid Bosses comes in handy and it makes a tremendous difference. Otherwise it also works on the raid bosses that occasionally pop up after missions, but it's generally overkill there.

Actually rewards from the races are given just after race result, even if you don't check the results. If you use the collect 20 items button, there is a great chance to get the reward without notice it. Check the collected gift history. Race reward should appears.

The problem with the past swanboat races was, that they rewarded currency, yet the exchange store for the event closed at the end of the event. For other events, the store occasionally stays open, but that didn't happen for the swanboat races we had so far. And, if you ask me, it's precisely the swanboat races where the event shop should stay open for a few more days after the event ended. For the other events, it's not an issue, since people have more freedom to manage themselves when they get the event currency, and can (SHOULD!) simply use it as soon as they obtain enough to get whatever they desire.
The swanboat races on the other hand, have a one hour window to spend the last currency that people aquire, which is very frustrating if you have to sleep during that time, or happen to be at work.

It would appear that they're just swapping out the units that haven't appeared in the Nutaku version yet.

Edelweiss was swapped in for another girl too.


edit: Also remember to bet 50 each on the other girls for these special races for some extra rewards.

Correct, the current betting is for the second last race, the last race, for which we can start betting tomorrow, is the one with the bonus rewards.
(must say, I bet 300 on each girl, since I had over 3,000 tokens anyway)

So there should be one more special race bafore the event ends yes ?

Oh thank you for reminding me, I actually forgot about the Raid Boss Events. But I never had problems with those. In fact, my only concern was to attack the boss before the players nuked it and I get the message "The Raid Boss has already been defeated."
I actually didn't even use a full squad on these events to help me fight the bosses more often. I never looked foward for a girl with raid boss % atk increase and I'd rather have an ability that's helpful all the time instead of in a specific event.

most raid boss events, especially in phase 2, get those very meaty bosses with 10+mill hp. those generally do need nuking, otherwise you risk them getting away. just fyi
