I'm actually down with this plan. They usually increase the drop rate in second phase, so this isn't very different. In fact, it's kind of better since you can get TWO girls instead of one.

This event is very much "Taketh with one hand and giveth with the other."

It's short. There is a slightly increased hurdle on the SR girl for trinkets, and no R-gacha from pink boxes. On the other hand, pink boxes have some really nice new things (3 R-Wild is nice) and you can get two girls from boxes. I dunno if the two exactly balance out, but it's not as bad as it could be.
