You can sometimes get 100 if you guess correctly. If you fail, you usually get 500 or 1000 pero. Honestly, I'd rather have 30 panties than even 5000 pero.

The only real advantage of the extra stage is it does seem to have a higher chance of panty chances. Plus it's better for exp/stamina. The rest of gambit is pretty much 2:1 ratio of stamina to experience. Extra stage is 3:2. It's still not as good as exploring, but you get a LITTLE more bang for your buck.
