RNG hates me on a good day, but clearly it doesn't want me to complete this event at all.

Spent over 500 stamina on ?-2 and it still won't 3 star because of the stupid RNG.

Adjusting your team to suit the map as best as possible might also be a way to lower the RNG, as there is some meager leeway to go around it.
