I passed on the 1000 NG Rainbows. Whilst a fantastic price, it just didn't seem right to just pick whatever Rainbow I wanted given I have 5 already and not all Amped/L70 yet. In the end, I passed on the deal as well.
If it would be some sort of a conditional achievement then I'd be all for getting a pick-your-6* ticket, but just like you said, it felt a bit odd to buy your luck however skewed it'd normally be.
I only have 2 gacha-drawn rainbows (3 in total, counting Alstroe Maria) and there's just something satisfying in seeing the pot turn rainbow when you're not really expecting it to.
