I've seen cash-grabby behavior in another Japanese company before (Cyberstep with Cosmic Break and its other games), and it only started cleaning up their act when the Japanese players got fed up with the way company was behaving and started threatening to stop paying. Don't expect much to change as long as the players in the game's home country are okay with it.

But because of what i read till now, it looks like its different to the "games home" so maybe something will change in that way, and it´s still an young game here
