I used a couple of them when I tried to reach the golden button. It was worth it (got the limmed SR) but it's a very risky thing to do.
I won't do it often if you ask me.

But anyways, it depends on how are you planning to use your card reveals.

Chise is mine after sending 4 R gacha + 4 candies like 20 times (silver button, 2h waiting time).

and i just got my god damn 12th R card from that damn squirel. For real...i don't even need R wild cards for it. It will simply level up by the sheer amount of duplicates i get from that little robber

yesterday got the sr....after used 8 peronamin half (got a lot in this event ) and 1 r-gacha...with that my collection is complete still i will use more r-gacha for try get peronamin....i' dont see how i will get 50k by the end of event i just passsed the half of that T.T

4 R gacha + 10 candies -> 1 card reveal O_o

Interesting. Just spent 3 tickets > 2:30 hours wait. This better be good. I never got such a long wait
