Gap Close Experiment: 3,250 to 3,600 - Testing 3,300
Trial 1:
-Tribute: 6x Peronamin
--Est Value: 3300
--Est Tier: ? (2:00-2:30)
---Resulting Tier: 2:30
---Nut Type: Fat Silver
---Candy: none
---Prize 1: 2x Peronamin
---Prize 2: 1x Peronamin Half
Trial 2:
-Tribute: 6x Peronamin
--Est Value: 3300
--Est Tier: ? (2:00-2:30)
---Resulting Tier: 2:00
---Nut Type: Fat Silver
---Candy: none
---Prize 1: 2x Peronamin
---Prize 2: 1x Peronamin Half
Trial 3:
-Tribute: 6x Peronamin
--Est Value: 3300
--Est Tier: ? (2:00-2:30)
---Resulting Tier: 3:00 (exception, disregard point value)
---Nut Type: Fat Silver
---Candy: none
---Prize 1: Limited N
Trial 4:
-Tribute: 6x Peronamin
--Est Value: 3300
--Est Tier: ? (2:00-2:30)
---Resulting Tier: 2:00
---Nut Type: Fat Silver
---Candy: none
---Prize 1: 2x PeroPero Glasses
Trial 5:
-Tribute: 6x Peronamin
--Est Value: 3300
--Est Tier: ? (2:00-2:30)
---Resulting Tier: 2:00
---Nut Type: Fat Silver
---Candy: 30
---Prize 1: 2x PeroPero Glasses
Results: In 5 trials, I got 3 2:00's, 1 2:30, and 1 3:00. If regarding the 2:30 and the 3:00 as exceptions (3:00 gave a Limited N too), 3.3k points is likely to be in the 2:00 tier.
Admittedly a 5-shot is a weak argument for data. I'll hit it another 5 times to be sure.
After that, I'm gonna take a jump and try for 3,450 next, as it's dead center of the gap.
Note 2: I think I mentioned it before but [Pero Pudding x2 + Peronamin x1] does not get you into the 2:00 wait time unless triggering an exception. A proper example tribute would be [Peronamin x5]

-Tribute: 6x PeroPero Glasses
--Est Value: 3300
--Est Tier: ? (2:00-2:30)
---Resulting Tier: 2:00
---Nut Type: Fat Silver
---Candy: none
---Prize 1: 2x PeroPero Glasses
Results: In another 5 trials, I got 3 2:30's and 2 2:00's. Furthermore, I recorded 3 different amounts of candy in the 2:30 wait time (and yes, I put alot of effort into charting the wait time). The very weird bit is that the candy amounts (when given) though inconsistent with the wait times, were at the least consistent with the usual prizes they would be paired with (20 candy and SR5/namin is common in the 1:30 Tier)
Long note short:
- 3,300 points is a gray area
- Wait times do not directly correlate with prize tiers. They usually serve as a good reference though
- As shown on JP Wiki, Nut color/shape does not determine prize tier but serves as general reference.
- There may be a remote possibility that PeroPero Glasses have a slightly lower value than Peronamin, but it is doubtful and difficult to prove.
Stranger is that with all that being said, all the inconsistencies were in the 2:30 wait time only. All my prizes in the 2:00 wait time were pretty much the usual, either a 2x Glasses or 2x namin with 1x namin half
I'm...honestly not sure what to make of this data right now...gonna sit on it for a bit before I figure my next course of action.
