Zimbabwe stopped using ZWL years ago and when the banks finally converted all balances to USD two years ago it had gotten to 35,000,000,000,000,000 (quadrillion) ZWL = 1 USD. The notorious 100,000,000,000,000 (trillion) notes that went for 0.4 USD eight years ago are now sold to collectors for $100, making a de facto exchange rate of 1,000,000,000,000 (trillion) ZWL = 1 USD.
I imagine most people don't care, but I found the story fascinating years ago.
edit: changed ZWD to ZWL as I'd forgotten about the iterations of Zimbabwe's currency (the original was the ZWD, then it was changed three more times as the value kept plummeting, in the end the 100 trillion ZWL was equivalent to 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (octillion!) ZWD)
