This is rather annoying. You need to open the log every time the dialogue reaches the bottom line of the box to make sure there isn't more. Lobelia's first appearance, for example, is one that's cut off.

Wait, really? Dammit, I didn't know that this was a thing. Don't know why the devs have such a hard time displaying dialogue properly. Now I gotta check all of them for this.
